Hi, I’m Annie Drake and I am so glad you are here today.

For over twenty years I have had the privilege of helping encourage thousands of individuals, couples, families and children of all ages get their lives back on track and create wonderful lives, full of passion and purpose.

I am not your typical relationship expert.  In fact, my clients are the experts when it comes to what they need and want in their relationships.  Even teenagers!  My job is to help them recognize this and to offer support, guidance and direction as they journey to create new ways to interact, share love and deepen commitment. My works offers new perspectives on relationships, parenting, family life and how to live life full of joy and meaning.

Together we work on solving problems by discovering the root of problems, so what is not working well makes sense to my clients. With this new understanding, I help my clients explore solutions, strategies and fresh ideas to create a life to enjoy, filled with love and laughter.

Solution oriented therapy offers you the opportunity to rebuild, rejuvenate, and rekindle your relationships. We’ll work together to solve your problems in creative ways that fits your relationship or child’s unique situation and needs.

Marriage Counseling

Do you want a more joyful marriage?

It takes a lot of love and hard work to have a successful and happy marriage.  You may be wishing the problems you are dealing were easier to solve.  Creating win-win and spouse-friendly solutions helps you work together to improve your relationship. Discovering how to resolve your differences and communicate better helps bring back the joy, kindness, and connection you once had with each other.

Couple Therapy

Do you need help getting better as a couple?

My approach to the counseling process is to treat both of you in your relationship as unique, with your own set of challenges and issues.  Many couples, by coming to counseling together, are able to share what they need and want, facilitating more open communication and creating a win-win experience.  Solving problems early can prevent difficulties later.

Teenage Counseling

Do you need help with your teenager?

Being in the trenches with a teenager isn't always easy, especially when moods change, identities shift and attitudes reverse.  Since teenagers do not come with instruction manuals, you may be in need of some professional help.

Family Therapy

Do you want a happier family?

Raising children can be both delightful and challenging. Differences in parenting styles, difficulties with discipline, and problems with extended family members are just some of the obstacles families face today.

Here are some kind words from my clients:

My spouse and I were exhausted from a general breakdown in communication and constant arguing. As a couple and individually, Annie gave a new perspective and helped us discover the roots of our problems, leading us to communicate more effectively. Using her strategies, we quickly got our relationship back on track and we are so thankful for her advice. She really helped turn our marriage around! I feel more confident knowing my family and I can seek Annie Drake’s highly knowledgeable and qualified advice to tackle life’s toughest challenges.

‘Annie has been my “go to” therapist since 1997. Life can be overwhelming and hard and she has helped me sort out and process my feelings to help me make the right decisions...some that I have been extremely grateful she has helped me make. She’s helped me through practically all my adult life and you know your problems can change as you evolve and your family grows. It usually does just take a session or two to resolve what’s going on, and then several years may go by sometimes before I need to call, but she has been and is always there for me.
